What is a co-op?
Founded on the principle of a democratic workplace, C4 is worker owned and operated. A worker co-op is a business model in which the workers own and run the work environment. The workers become the shareholders, typically receiving equal shares. In general they are organized democratically, with each member receiving one vote.
